Across the face of Primordiax, sentient life abounds, taking myriad forms. For some of the denizens, their race constitutes the beginning of self-awareness and identity. Others simply see themselves as a part of humanity as a whole.

Scholars of ancient history believe that most of the races of Primordiax were create at the same time and in equal numbers. They theorize that if one had come before the other, the dominant race would have wiped the other ones off the face of the world. Evidence, however, suggests that some races that once walked the realm no longer exist while others sprang into being after the Sundering.

Race is often the first tool in building a roleplaying profile for a character.
